The Department of Computer Engineering at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah ranked first in the national classification for the year 2021 within 14 scientific departments of the corresponding departments in Iraqi universities.

This achievement comes as a result of the scientific and research activities of the department's teachers, as well as the valuable efforts of the department's management to raise it to higher ranks.
