University of Basrah holds a training course entitled (modeling and simulation of material budgets for industrial projects in the field of chemical engineering)

The College of Engineering, University of Basrah, held a training course entitled (Modeling and simulating material budgets for industrial projects in the field of chemical engineering) presented by the teacher, Dr. Muhammad Nasser Faris. This course aims to increase the efficiency of the chemical engineer in the field of modeling and simulation of design projects in the field of chemical engineering and how to follow modern methods in the field of Programming and controlling material budgets in industrial projects. As well as identifying some of the programming languages used in the design processes in modern industrial projects and their positive impact on the level of competence of the chemical engineer in the field of design and simulation of industrial projects in the field of chemical engineering.

The course included several axes. The first axis was acquainted with flow charts in industrial processes in the field of chemical engineering, drawing industrial equipment in the field of chemical engineering with modern computer programs. The second axis included. Learn how to conduct material balances on industrial projects in the field of chemical engineering, modeling and programming material balances for units. The third axis is to conduct an applied lecture for the participants in the course to prepare an actual model for the programming and simulation process of an industrial project in the field of chemical engineering (phenol production plant).
