The College of Engineering at the University of Basra conducted a teaching suitability test for those who recently obtained a master’s degree from employees of the Ministry of Higher Education and the Ministry of Health as one of the requirements for holders of higher degrees. The number of applicants was three, civil and architectural engineering specialists. Each of them presented a specialized scientific lecture to demonstrate his aptitude and ability to teach. Then they were tested in English. The Chairman and members of the committee expressed their observations to each applicant to enhance his performance and future skills in lecturing.
