The College of Engineering at Basra University organized an art exhibition for drawing and plastic works, in cooperation with the Heritage Arts Team .
The exhibition included the participation of more than 150 works by college students. These works were distributed between watercolor, oil and wood paintings, calligraphy, decoration and engineering drawing paintings, in addition to coloring, photographs and national drawings.
The Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Mufid Turki Rashid, said that the exhibition aims to highlight the artistic energies possessed by students in the fields of drawing, planning and coloring, pointing out the importance of holding such exhibitions as they represent a healthy phenomenon to create creativity and develop artistic abilities and talents among students and encourage such activities in the college. The Dean of the College also honored the participants in the exhibition and the Heritage Arts Team.
