
Dr. Adi Bashir Issa, a faculty member at the College of Engineering and Director of the Ibn Sina Center for E-Learning at the University of Basra, participated in a lecture at a workshop on the "3 Minutes Thesis" competition.
The workshop included an explanation of the competition's mechanism and its importance in simplifying research ideas for academic and non-specialized audiences. It also included a review of public speaking, persuasion, and punctuality skills.
Dr. Adi Bashir Issa emphasized that these initiatives contribute to raising the efficiency of graduate students and enhancing their ability to communicate scientifically and disseminate knowledge in an accessible and effective manner.
The workshop aimed to explain the requirements for participating and winning in the international competition through practical advice, such as engaging opening sentences, focusing on the main message, and adhering to the specified time.
