The College of Engineering at the University of Basra received an official delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research as part of its field visit to assess the academic and administrative situation at the college.

The delegation was received by the Dean of the College of Engineering, and accompanied on its tour by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Sarmad Abdullah Abbas. The delegation inspected several of the college's laboratories, reviewing their technical and scientific capabilities, in addition to observing the workflow in the administrative departments.

The delegation commended the efforts made in developing the educational and laboratory environment, emphasizing the importance of continuing to support the infrastructure in accordance with quality standards and academic accreditation.
