<p>Engineering is the art of putting scientific ideas and theories in the service of mankind through wonderful engineering achievements in the fields of life. The College of Engineering at Basra University is a prestigious college established with the beginning of the university’s establishment in the year 1964 and has a distinguished place inside and outside Iraq. Its professors and graduates throughout the decades of their lives have distinguished themselves over their counterparts in other universities. This college has devoted itself to serving the community and the country and its contributions have a great role in Building the edifice of our beloved Iraq. The students of the College of Engineering have always been a good example for all university students and have been distinguished by their high morals, commitment to time and their follow-up to lessons, and they have rightly proven that they are the elite of university students and this is what the engineering student should be. The College of Engineering at Basra University seeks to be one of the distinguished colleges at the local and regional level And global, and competes with honor with its counterparts in the most prestigious countries of the world. And that it should be before it, intended by students from all over the earth, and that its contributions in the field of research and service to the human being will be indicated to him by kindness and pride for the promotion of our beloved country and our dear province.
