A committee from the University Presidency, accompanied by Dr. Osama Jassim Naeem, Director of Student Affairs at the College of Engineering, visited the College of Engineering to audit the work of the college's departments. This comes as part of the University of Basra's ongoing efforts to consolidate the administrative and academic work of the university's colleges. The committee, represented by Professor Dr. Haider Abdul Razzaq as Chairman, and including Professor Dr. Salah Naji Aziz and Dr. Abbas Faleh Hassan, members, visited the College of Engineering to review and audit the college's work by reviewing and auditing the basic records, graduation rates, administrative orders for examination committees, the number of college graduates, and the working mechanisms of the college's departments and affiliated units. The committee commended the work accomplished and highlighted several observations that would enhance the pace of work and speed up completion. The College Deanship, represented by Professor Dr. Mufid Turki Rashid, Dean of the College of Engineering, thanked the Chairman and members of the committee for their valuable comments and their keenness to ensure the integrity of the examination committees’ performance.
