The Department of Civil Engineering at the College of Engineering, University of Basra, organized a field visit to Al-Farah Residential Complex as part of its academic program aimed at enhancing students' practical skills and bridging the gap between theoretical studies and real-world engineering applications.
A group of undergraduate students participated in the visit, accompanied by faculty members from the department. The students observed the project's implementation phases, the types of materials used, and the on-site work processes. They also received a detailed explanation of the construction work, infrastructure, and service systems within the project.
This visit aimed to develop students' field skills, provide them with direct experience in managing and executing residential projects according to modern engineering standards, and enable them to interact with the technical teams working on-site.
This visit reflects the Department of Civil Engineering's commitment to supporting practical learning and providing a comprehensive educational environment that helps students acquire the professional skills necessary for the job market.
