The College of Engineering at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, held a lecture entitled “The Virtues of the Quran in the Month of Ramadan.”

The College of Engineering at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, held a religious lecture entitled “The Virtues of the Quran in the Month of Ramadan.” The lecture was organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering in collaboration with the Holy Quran Center at the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, Basra Branch.

The lecture addressed the great importance of the Holy Quran during the blessed month of Ramadan, as the month in which it was revealed, and the spiritual and educational meanings it holds that contribute to purifying the soul and strengthening faith and moral values ​​within the university community. It also touched upon the importance of engaging with the Quran through recitation, contemplation, and application, and utilizing the atmosphere of this holy month to promote Quranic culture among students.

This event is part of a series of cultural and religious activities that the College of Engineering is keen to hold, which enhance the spiritual and intellectual development of students and affirm the university’s role in building a well-rounded academic personality that combines academic knowledge with human values.
