The College of Engineering at the University of Basra continues its humanitarian initiative during the holy month of Ramadan by distributing Ramadan food baskets to needy students in dormitories. This initiative aims to support students and alleviate their financial burdens during this blessed month.

This initiative comes under the guidance and supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Mufeed Turki Rashid, affirming the college's commitment to fostering the values ​​of social solidarity and human compassion within the university community.

The campaign included the distribution of food baskets containing essential items needed by students during Ramadan. These baskets were delivered to eligible students in the dormitories, contributing to meeting some of their daily needs.

This initiative reflects the spirit of cooperation and solidarity that the College of Engineering strives to promote among its students, alongside its academic role, by supporting students and attending to their needs to help them continue their studies in a conducive environment.
