In the presence of the President of the University Prof. Saad Shaheen Hammadi The College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Ministerial Team for E-learning, organized a seminar on (Modern trends of the e-learning project in Iraqi universities.

The symposium included several aspects, namely, the definition of courses, open education resources and resources, interactive educational videos, and a summary explanation of electronic tests, in addition to work requirements and how teachers deal with this aspect.

The aim of holding the symposium is to demonstrate the importance of working in the field of e-learning because it meets the needs of students who are unable to attend classes, spread it internationally and enroll in international universities

The team also expressed its readiness to cooperate in establishing the course for Basra University, as it is one of the forerunners in this field

For his part, President of the University Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi said that the university seeks to improve its scientific output, welcoming the idea and the importance of its implementation, adding some obstacles facing the university and the teaching staff, hoping for good solutions to facilitate dealing in this field.
