University of Basrah organizes a scientific workshop on (Steps to Create Interactive Video Lectures)

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ramzi Salem Ali, the College of Engineering at University of Basrah organized a workshop on (Steps to Create Interactive Video Lectures)

Presented by Dr. Noha Hadi Jassem, Dr. Saad Abu Al-Hail Arab

The workshop aims to identify the necessary requirements of software and websites to create an interactive video lecture.

Several steps included thereof:

preparing the lecture and configuring it in any of the programs, whether it is a powerpoint or pdf presentation program or printed in a word program, so that the lecture is prepared electronically after that.

Recording the lecture through a video camera or recording the computer screen during the presentation, which is better and easier by using any of the desktop recording programs, free screen recorder, fast stone capture recorder, cam studio, and other programs that are free and most of them are available on the Internet.  After that create an interactive video by registering as an instructor on edpuzzle.com.

Finally, presenting the lecture to students through electronic classes, the model platform, google class room, or any homemade platform.

The workshop recommended holding workshops on registering on the edpuzzle.com website and how to use it due to its importance and ease in editing video and adding tests and sounds in the interactive video.
