Under the guidance of the President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and in the interest of the Deanship of the College of Engineering to develop and encourage reading among students, the College of Engineering accompanied the students of the College to visit the International Book Exhibtion, which is held on the grounds of the Basrah International Exhibition.

Where the students were transported by buses free of charge from the college to the exhibition and back again to the college, accompanied by Dr. Osama Jassim Naim, Associate Dean for Student Affairs and a number of teachers.

The students also expressed their happiness with such an exhibition, this diversity of books, and the excellence in organizing all kinds of books.
