Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Ramzy Salim Ali, and under the supervision of the Head of the Civil Engineering Department, Dr. Sarmad Abdullah, the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah held an introductory workshop for the Autodesk Revit program.

The workshop dealt with several topics presented by the certified international trainer Ahmed Dhia Mahmoud / student in the Department of Civil Engineering, including the definition of the program (architectural and construction), an explanation of the program lists.

Explanation of the project browser & properties menus, families Revit explanation, construction building design, walk-through video work, review of a group of engineering projects implemented in the program by local engineers, including a water project in Basrah.

The aim of the workshop is to introduce the fourth stage students of the Civil Engineering Department to the Autodesk Revit program.
