Within the extra-curricular activities of the department’s students, the cultural activities team in the Department of Chemical Engineering in the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah issued the zero issue of the monthly magazine Knorld on the first of November of this year

The head of the Chemical Engineering Department, Assist.Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahed Abdel Hasan, stated that the goal of the magazine is to spread awareness, culture and love of reading and reading in the university community. It included many scientific, cultural, literary, artistic and awareness topics, noting that the magazine was issued in both paper and electronic versions by the Editorial Committee Which included a number of the department’s students from the morning and evening studies, in addition to the support, supervision and follow-up committee for this magazine by the department’s administration.
