The technical staff in the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah has completed civil and electrical works to install a 1500KVA generator for the purpose of filling the college’s need of electrical energy, especially in the summer, high temperatures and increasing electrical power loads. And Dr. Musab Adel Ali, the administrative assistant at the College of Engineering, indicated that the work of erecting the generator began with civil works, including grading the land and pouring concrete for the base of the generator to bear the weight of the generator, which reaches 50 tons, as the college will be equipped with the required electrical energy.
