The Civil Engineering Department of the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah visited the Children's Cancer Specialist Hospital.

Where an official delegation was formed from the department, including a group of teachers and students, after material donations were collected for the purpose of presenting to them. The amount of donations reached nearly 3 million Iraqi dinars, which were distributed to children and their families to reduce the heavy burden on their shoulders.

The purpose of the visit is to see the conditions of children with cancer, stand by them, raise their spirits and draw a smile on their faces

The visit also included the presence of one of the department's students dressed as a clown to sow joy in the hearts of the children. For its part, the doctors and hospital staff welcomed this humanitarian initiative.
