The President of University of Basrah honors the College of Engineering

 The Department of Computer Engineering at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, with the efforts of the teaching staff, ranked first in the Iraqi national classification after 14 corresponding departments competed in Iraqi universities.
And the Head of the Department of Computer Engineering, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Ali Al-Abadi
This achievement came after a period of hard work and outstanding efforts of the teaching staff and the Quality Assurance Committee in the department to show the great research activity of the teaching staff and the centers of strength that the department possesses both administratively and teachingly, which made the department one of the large departments that rose to the first place on the computer engineering departments in All Iraqi universities.
 This is in order to provide society with engineering regiments capable of changing the future for the better.
