The President of the University of Basrah honors the Department of Electrical Engineering at the College of Engineering

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basrah, Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi
The University of Basrah held a ceremony in honor of the departments that got advanced positions among the corresponding departments in the Iraqi classification of universities 2021
 The Department of Electrical Engineering at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah was honored among the list of winning departments, where the Department of Electrical Engineering in the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, with the efforts of the teaching staff, won the first ranks award in the Iraqi national classification after 21 corresponding departments competed in Iraqi universities.
And the head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Prof. Dr. Mufid Turki Rashid
This achievement came after a period of hard work and outstanding efforts of the teaching staff and the Quality Assurance Committee in the department to show the great research activity of the teaching staff and the centers of strength that the department possesses administratively and teaching, which made the department one of the large departments that rose to rank first on the electrical engineering departments in all Iraqi universities.
 This is in order to provide society with engineering regiments capable of changing the future for the better.
