Performing competitive exams for postgraduate studies in engineering disciplines
On Thursday morning, corresponding to 19/5/2022, the competitive examinations for applicants for postgraduate studies (Master’s and Ph.D.) at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah were started for the scientific departments, including mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering and chemical engineering, and for the master’s and doctoral studies, under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College represented by the Dean of the College Engineering Ramzy Salim Ali and the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Studies, Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Maath Mohammad, and the Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Musab Adel Ali. Where the Dean of the College and the Dean of the College of Graduate Studies inspected the examination halls, He was briefed on the progress of competitive exams, the nature of the questions, the performance of the participating students and their answers
During his inspection tour, he stressed the commitment to the instructions issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding competitive exams and work to complete the process successfully and facilitate all obstacles for the examining students, who numbered 107.. He praised the efforts made by the exam committees and scientific departments in receiving applicants and confirming to organize and abide by the exam timings and to overcome obstacles in front of students.
