A Reasercher at the College of Engineering publishes a research in an international journal

Assistant Professor Dr. Faleh Mahdi Mousa, a teacher at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, published a research in (IEEE Access) journal, which is one of the journals affiliated with the International Publishing House (IEEE), which is classified under the “Integrity of
Clarivate with an impact factor (3.476)
Scopas (CiteScore=4.34) in the first quarter (Q1)
Entitled (A Compact Wideband Circularly Polarized Planar Monopole Antenna with Axial Ratio Bandwidth Entirely Encompassing the Antenna Bandwidth)
The research included two main innovations in wireless circular polarization systems, despite the small size and low cost of the designed antenna.
The first innovation is that this antenna offers the widest circular polarization frequency band obtained so far, reaching (5.3GHz).
The second innovation is that the circular polarization bandwidth covers the entire antenna bandwidth and this coverage was achieved for the first time through this research.
