The Student Activities Unit at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah held a five-a-side football tournament, as part of the internal curriculum for student sports activities on the College of Engineering’s stadium, with the participation of students from all departments of the college, morning and evening, and employees of (10) teams.

The matches took place between the morning civil engineering department and the morning chemical engineering department and ended with the civil department winning (6-3).

The match also took place between the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the evening and the Department of Architectural Engineering in the morning and ended with the victory of the Architectural Department team with a score of (3-0).

In addition to the match between the Civil Engineering Department in the evening and the faculty members, which ended with the victory of the faculty’s affiliate team with a score of (9-3).

It is worth noting that the match will be held on Tuesday and Thursday of every week according to the doubles drop system
