The President  University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, visited the College of Engineering

He was received by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Ramzi Salem Ali, and his administrative and scientific assistants

The purpose of the visit is to meet on increasing the admission plan for evening studies. It also went to visit laboratories in the Departments of Electrical and Materials Engineering, in addition to visiting practical lessons in the Department of Architecture, meeting with students, and reviewing the graduation projects of fifth stage students.

Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Moaz Muhammad, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, said that the president of the university was briefed on the reality of the laboratories and the material requirements in them and instructed to provide laboratories with equipment and supplies, especially since the college received this year large numbers of students in the various admission channels, in addition to the students of Basra Governorate studying in other universities
