Master thesis at the University of Basrah discussing (Analysis of the performance of OFDM modulation methods for the wireless communication channel)

I discussed a master's thesis at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah entitled (Analysis of the performance of OFDM modulation methods for the wireless communication channel)

The thesis presented by the student Abu Al-Qasim Fakher Hashem included the construction of the OFDM system. In the beginning, two types of balancing circuits are used, ZFE and MMSE, separately with the system. The automatic type reduces the effect of multiple paths of the signal but ignores the effect of noise, while the second type is the change on. The effect of multiple signal paths as well as noise by reducing the mean square error between the received signal and a specific test signal. As for the third type of equations, it is suggested to use LMS to avoid dependence on. Statistical characteristics of the channel

The thesis aims to add three different types of equations or balancing circuits to overcome the weakness of the channel, which consists of four paths.

As the system will be vulnerable to ISI, a balancing circuit is used to improve the overall system performance

The thesis concluded that LMS is a better BER than ZFE and MMSE for SNR values greater than ̷5 dB although it is independent of the channel's statistical properties.
