University of Basrah organizes a training workshop on (electrical systems, their applications and risks)

The College of Engineering at the University of Basrah organized a training workshop on (electrical systems, their applications and risks) in cooperation with the foreign company working in the field of electrical energy ABB and the Rehabilitation and Employment Center at the University of Basra

Where one of the workshop organizers, Mr. Muhammad Nasser Laibi, stated that the aim of this workshop is to help students develop their knowledge and abilities after graduation and to obtain jobs. He also added that the workshop is for students and graduates of the Electrical Engineering Department exclusively.

The workshop included several topics presented by Mr. Mazen Mohamed Abdel Abbas, maintenance engineer for high pressure equipment, Mr. Mohamed Ali Ahmed, director of the sales department, Mr. Haitham Odeh Sheyal, maintenance engineer for electrical protection devices, and Mr. Mohamed Nasser Laibi, director of occupational safety and health, and the axes are: electrical systems, equipment High pressure, types of transformer stations, electrical hazards, occupational safety measures

At the end of the workshop, the participants were given a certificate of participation by the company
