The researcher at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, Dr. Saad Matti Boutros, obtained a patent from the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control in the Iraqi Ministry of Planning for devising a new method for treating the growth and removal of shellfish on plastic and glass materials.
