A teacher at the University of Basrah participates in a research in a symposium (on radioactive contamination)

The lecturer at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, Dr. Saad Matti Boutros, participated in the symposium held by the College of Medicine in Al-Zahraa on radioactive contamination.

The participation included a presentation of the research tagged (UV emission from mobile screens and environmental pollution).

The researcher explained the negative effects resulting from the emission of ultraviolet rays from smart phone screens when used near the user’s eyes in dark rooms and related to the topic of the symposium on increasing male infertility. The intensity of radiation when placing a bundle of personal keys with the mobile in one of the men’s trouser pockets, as the researcher pointed out to the electromagnetic radiation emitted from communication towers, in addition to the spread of radioactive uranium dust produced as a result of oil operations, which is present with the drilling mud and its transmission to the city center due to the movement of winds and dust storms, which It led to an increase in infertility cases and cancerous diseases in Basrah and the rest of Iraq
