
The College of Engineering at the University of Basrah organized a scientific symposium on (Modern Communication Systems, Challenges and Solutions)
The symposium included a study of the increase in the amount of exchanged data and the need to develop the infrastructure, techniques and protocols necessary to meet the needs of users. In this symposium, four scientific lectures were presented with the participation of professors from the Faculty of Engineering and professors from the Southern Technical University
The first lecture presented the techniques of the many hobby systems in input and output, the second lecture dealt with the OFDM communication system as well as the third lecture examined the use of chaotic systems in communications and the fourth lecture touched upon the future challenges of communication systems in terms of power consumption and impact on the natural resources on the planet Earth
The aim of holding the symposium was to see what science has reached in the field of communications and information technology, the challenges facing the communications sector, the proposed solutions and how to invest them in the communications sector in Iraq in general and Basrah in particular. At the end of the seminar, certificates of appreciation were presented to the participants
