A group of students of the College of Engineering/Department of Architecture prepared a study and designs for the development of the Al-Saai area in the Basra Governorate. It is complicated because it is one of the old areas, and there are no schemes linking the different functions

Three models for the proposed projects were prepared for the development of the region, and each group contained 7 students of the fifth stage. The projects were supervised by Dr. Tahsin Ali Majeed, Dr. Hamid Samir, Dr. Abbas Abdel-Kazim.
