The College of Engineering at the University of Basrah received the ministerial committee for evaluating Iraqi public universities. During the meeting, the files related to quality assurance were reviewed, which included four axes: the first axis was scientific research, the second axis included quality improvement and accreditation programs, the third axis was faculty members, the fourth axis included scientific activities
And Dr. Hassanein, the Quality Officer at the College of Engineering, indicated that the College of Engineering has achieved the highest grades among the colleges of the University of Basra
The Deputy Director of Quality in the Teaching Presidency of the University, Hussein Abdul Karim, stated that the committee was briefed on the work of the departments and people of quality assurance in the College of Engineering, and he also praised the efforts made by the Dean of the College to host, prepare, support and provide all quality requirements with high accuracy.
It is worth noting that the Ministerial Committee conducts this assessment on an annual basis for all universities, colleges and departments in order to improve the quality of scientific and research outputs in the College of Engineering
