Master's thesis at the University of Basrah looking at (performance analysis and evaluation of the collaborative communication system across multi-track channels)

A master’s thesis at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah (Performance Analysis and Evaluation of the Collaborative Communication System across Multi-Track Channels) by student Huda Anwar Muhammad

The thesis dealt with the proposal of a new technology, which is collaborative communication, and it has received great attention in recent years, which is characterized by its easy implementation of spatial diversity. Collaborative communication achieves cooperative diversity when the relay (RELAY) is within the design of the system to provide an additional link to the signal to reach the future and have the ability to achieve monetary advantages MIMO But without multiple antennas on a portable device, this thesis relates to employing multiple AF relays in a communications system to provide MBI management. The main parameters such as BER, outage probability, and amplitude at outage are discussed, as well as showing the importance of a direct path between the transmitter and receiver using a rate of BER for two types of modulation, BPSK and 4QAM, and then check the effect of different transmission rates on the outage probability of the direct path.

The results showed that the presence of the RELAY relay in the system will reduce the BER and the probability of outage. It was also found that the best location of the relay is at the mid-distance between the transmitter and the receiver. As for the influence of the environment, the results showed that the presence of the relay will reduce the bit error rate and the probability of outage.
