The College of Engineering at the University of Basrah organized a scientific symposium on the art of time management. The symposium included a lecture presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Amal Abdul Razzaq Al-Mansoori, Dean of the College of Education for Girls at the University of Basra, during which she addressed the definition of the goal. Long-term, explaining the ways that help to gain time, including reducing sleep, fast reading, short rest, prioritizing, self-rewarding and time monitoring. She mentioned the basics of time management such as time analysis, time planning, time management, the implementation phase and the follow-up phase, and what are the obstacles to time management, which are Forgetting, laziness and procrastination, lack of a goal or plan, failure to complete the work and negligence in it, and that the aim of the symposium was to know ways to manage and gain time to have a more psychologically balanced life.
