Based on the principle of humanitarian assistance and the spirit of high citizenship, the College of Engineering at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the White Helmet team and the Blood Bank, organized a blood donation campaign to support cancer patients.

Where Abu Al-Hassan Al-Lami, one of the team officials, stated that this campaign entitled (Let us help them) indicates the extent of the sense of responsibility and the spirit of citizenship, and that it is a voluntary work to donate blood to cancer patients in order to reduce the burden on the Ministry of Health and help them

The Administrative Assistant to the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Basem Talib Kazem, praised the high turnout by the college’s employees and students, indicating that this campaign is neither the first nor the last, as the college had previously organized such campaigns.
