Prof. Dr. Abdul-Karim Sawadi Abdullah, a lecturer at the College of Engineering at the University of Basra, received a letter of thanks and appreciation from Prof. Dr. Thamer Ahmed Hamdan, President  University of Basrah. For his active role in academic work, Abdullah was able to publish two research papers in two international journals with an impact factor of (0.766) and (1.187), according to the Thomson Reuters classification.
