Master's thesis at the University of Basrah discussing (smart tank level management system)

a master's thesis at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah discussing (Smart Tank Level Management System)
The thesis presented by the student Anwar Abdel Karim Ali dealt with the modeling of the RD5204 system and performance analysis, where the PI controller was proposed and improved as follows:
The RD5204 system was studied in the case of using a traditional control system, where the performance of the system was evaluated based on data and information collected from the actual system at Basrah Refinery. The system has also been tested with external factors often encountered on the job site, such as low feed flow and valve failure
director.
The RD5204 system PI controller is proposed to improve the output response by using several methods to adjust and detect optimum parameters:
One of them is manual tuning (trial and error) already used in Basra refinery, tuning
The other automatic is based on the frequency of the system derived from the measurements.

The message aims to control the level of important and main functions in most of the operational processes in the industrial sector because it is closely related to the type of manufacturing process in addition to the element of safety and savings for people and equipment
The thesis concluded poor performance in the case of using a conventional controller, while the performance was improved in the case of using a PI controller. Moreover, the use of the RL factor as an online tuner is superior to other methods in the case of evaluating the optimal parameters of the PI controller when testing the system under the influence of external disturbances and noise. the operation .
