Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and under the direct supervision of Prof. Ramzy Salim Ali, the Deanship of the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah organized its calendar conference for the year 2020/2021_2021/2022 and in the presence of the deans, the assistant dean for scientific and administrative affairs, the teaching staff, heads of departments, and the college’s employees. The conference seeks to uncover the most important obstacles and find successful solutions to them. Where the scientific and administrative process of the college for the past two years was reviewed, starting with success rates and research registration and publishing it on international websites, the movement of owners for teachers and employees, the completion of school curricula, scientific activities, publications, and voluntary work. The conference dealt with two axes: the scientific axis presented by the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Haider Maath Mohammad, who gave a detailed explanation of the conference, which included a research approach in which a group of scientific activities that seek to achieve the goal of the conference were presented and reflected in evaluating the scientific career of our college in the future from By identifying the most important positive indicators of that process and the most important distinguished activities in the college and comparing them with its achievements in the previous year in order to work on developing these indicators for the better.
The second axis is the financial and administrative axis, which was explained by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, M.D. Musab Adel Ali, where he gave a detailed explanation about the infrastructure, the financial, organizational, and service aspects, as well as to the most important achievements of the field college related to the college building and its departments and its development from green spaces, halls and laboratories
In conclusion, the President of the University praised the efforts made in the evaluation conference in a way that befits the College of Engineering, and in the hope of establishing more activities and goals set for the addition of scientific information that enriches the scientific archive of the University in general and the College in particular.
