The Department of Materials Engineering at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah organized a visit to the Children’s Hospital under the supervision and follow-up of the department’s professors and a team consisting of a number of the department’s students.
The visit aimed to see the conditions of children with cancer, stand by them, raise their morale, and add joy and pleasure in the hearts of children.
The visit included giving some gifts to sick children, and for its part, the doctors and hospital staff welcomed this noble humanitarian initiative, which is considered one of the important visits because of its positive impact on the psyche of children.
