Under the auspices of the College of Engineering and in cooperation with the Center for Educational Counseling and Mental Health, the Educational Counseling Unit held a symposium in the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah on (management of psychological stress). Mrs. Nawal Muhammad Khasaf defines psychological stress and its types, as well as the effects of these stresses on human health and behavior in general and on the university student in particular, then the steps for managing and treating psychological stress were explained.
Later, the questions and interventions of the teachers and students were listened to. Dr.. Hana Sadiq, Director of the Center for Educational Counseling and Mental Health at the University of Basrah, addressed these questions and gave a lecture on the definition and management of time and ways to identify the activities that occupy most of the time and identify.
