A Researcher in the College of Engineering publishes paper in an international journal

Assistant Professor Dr. Faleh Mahdi Musa, a lecturer at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, published a research in the journal (IEEE Access), which is one of the journals affiliated with the International Publishing House (IEEE), and is classified within the following containers:
Clarivate with an impact factor of (3.476)
Scopus (CiteScore=4.34) within the first quarter of Q1
Titled: (Design and manufacture of a wideband circular polarization miniature antenna that fully covers the 5G standards)
The research included the design and manufacture of a small size antenna with broadband circular polarization. The circular polarization range of the antenna covers the two main standards for the fifth generation, one of which is used in the United States and the other standard in Europe and Asia. In this paper, the antenna was modeled with a mathematical model that accurately described the antenna's characteristics, it's response was very close to the practical results obtained. Through this antenna, it is possible to unify the transmission and reception in both standards and with circular polarization without the need to manufacture two separate antennas or one antenna that supports only one standard.
