Students of the third stage of the Department of Computer Engineering at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah made a scientific visit to Basra International Airport on Tuesday, 3/14/2023. The students were accompanied by teachers from the Department of Computer Engineering, Dr. Fatima Kazem and Dr. Sarah Aziz. During the visit, the modern technologies used in the airport departments were reviewed. The students received a group of engineers specialized in the field of information and communication technology, and they explained to the students the modern devices and programs used in the airport departments. The students also visited the control tower at Basra Airport and were given a detailed explanation of the method of communication between the tower and the planes during take-off and landing.
