A delegation from the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities visited the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, represented by Engineer Haider Allawi and Engineer Ali Khaled, engineers at the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities / Department of Buildings / Project Management of Iraqi Building Codes and Specifications. They were received by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assist. Prof. Dr. Haider Maath Mohammad During the visit, the College of Engineering was provided with a number of codes, which are the standard guide for price analysis for the construction and construction sector, an introductory brochure for Iraqi construction codes, the resident engineer’s guideline for construction projects, and it was agreed to hold a workshop to introduce codes issued by the Ministry of Construction and the possibility of using them in engineering work in various disciplines .
