A delegation of the Computer Engineering Department teachers in our college, represented by the Head of the Computer Engineering Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammad Abd Ali Jouda, and the Assistant Dean of the College of Engineering for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Musab Adel Ali, and Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Falah Abdel Hassan and Dr. Imad Abdul Razzaq Jassim, held an academic meeting with Dr. Omar Al-Ani is the head of the Department of Science and Engineering at the University of Salford, UK.
This meeting was part of the academic visit to the United Kingdom, according to the invitations extended to them by British universities to discuss scientific cooperation between the two universities.
The meeting took place at the University of Salford and included a discussion on preparing a plan for coordination between the two universities for research cooperation
between the teaching staff at both universities, the exchange of joint supervision of postgraduate students' theses, the provision of facilities in these aspects, and also the possibility of facilitating the granting of hosting invitations to students wishing to complete part of their scientific research and laboratory projects at the University of Salford.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Musab Adel gave a shield of the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah to Dr. Omar Al-Ani for his invitation and cooperation in the success of this meeting and his willingness to facilitate the implementation of the axes that were discussed.
