The Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Mofid Turky Rashed, met with a number of student representatives of the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, and the Head of the Petroleum Engineering Department. The Dean welcomed the students and stressed the Deanship of the College’s keenness on the importance of communicating with the students, as they are the base of the educational process and the importance of Listening to all the problems they face for the purpose of finding appropriate solutions in line with the implementation of ministerial instructions. It was agreed to hold periodic weekly meetings with student representatives to listen to their comments during the course of the academic year
The Dean of the College also thanked the student representatives for their keenness to overcome the difficulties facing their colleagues and for bearing responsibility.
