In the presence of the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Assist. Prof. Dr. Hassanein Ibrahim Khalaf, and the Head of the Petroleum Engineering Department, Assist. Prof. Dr. Haider Maath Mohammad, Schlumberger International Oil Company in Basra, represented by the company’s recruitment manager, Engineer Mustafa Mahmoud, conducted employment interviews with graduates of the Mechanical Engineering Department in College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, in order to employ them in the company. During the interview, the English language, skills, and scientific level possessed by the college’s graduates were praised.
It is worth noting that Schlumberger is considered the largest company in the world working in the field of oil field services.
