Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Mufid Turki Rashid

The College of Engineering at the University of Basra organized a workshop in cooperation with the Basra Water Directorate and the management of the Great Basra Water Project, in addition to cooperation with the Basra Governorate, Planning Department. During this workshop, many projects of interest to the Basra citizen and the local industry in Basra Governorate were discussed. The workshop aimed to approve a group of Recommendations to develop the water sector in Basra Governorate and raise the level of work within these projects. These recommendations will be released to the relevant authorities
