The College of Engineering, University of Basra, Department of Petroleum Engineering, participated in the Seventh Oil and Gas Conference held by the Research and Development Center in the Iraqi Ministry of Oil and Energy, where all of the teaching staff, Professor Dr. Saad Matti Boutros, Dr. Ethar Hisham Khalil, and the lecturers, Dr. Basem Abdel-Hay and Dr. Rafi’ Ahmed, participated. In presenting their research in various fields, such as the repercussions of environmental pollution in Basra, innovative methods in treating the corrosion of oil pipelines, evaluating water injection projects, and developing investment in adopting the digital revolution 4.0 in the oil and gas industry... they obtained letters of thanks from His Excellency the Minister of Oil and energy . The conference aims to adopt the outcomes in developing the work of the ministry and its various sectors and preserving and sustaining energy resources
