The College of Engineering at the University of Basra organized a religious symposium entitled Introductions to Waiting. The symposium included a lecture in which Mr. Mortada Al-Mudarresi, son of the Grand Ayatollah and religious authority, Mr. Muhammad Taqi Al-Mudarresi, on the occasion of the blessed Shaabani births. The master spoke about the etiquette of waiting for the appearance of Imam Mahdi, may God hasten his appearance, and also answered the students’ questions. Mr. Mortada Al-Modarresi met with the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Sarmad Abdullah Abbas, and the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Mounir Abdel Jalil. The Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Mounir Abdel Jalil, also presented a gift to Mr. Mortada Al-Modarresi.
