The College of Engineering at the University of Basra, Petroleum Department, held a legal awareness seminar for first-year morning study students, regarding student discipline instructions within the institutions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The symposium, which was lectured by teacher Hussein Shatti, a lecturer at the College of Engineering, Department of Petroleum Engineering, included a statement of the actions that the student must refrain from, whether inside or outside the university campus. It also highlighted the penalties that could be imposed on the student in the event he violates the above instructions. It should also be noted that the university student’s behavior is governed by two matters: the first is within the limits of his relationship with the examination hall and the resulting cheating or attempt. Or within the limits of its relationship with the human and material element, such as public property and funds.
