The College of Engineering at the University of Basra, in the Department of Civil Engineering, represented by Professor Dr. Saleh Issa Khassaf, received the ministerial committee for the establishment of a master’s study in the specialty of health and environmental engineering, where the head and members of the committee were briefed on the scientific laboratories for the aforementioned specialty, in addition to the study halls, scientific books, and the specialized teaching staff.
The Ministerial Committee praised all the capabilities available in the department. It submitted its report to the Ministry, indicating that all requirements necessary to open the jurisdiction were met.
